There are three large supermarkets on island, each one carrying different types of produces. Top tip: remember the arrival day for the containers of fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy products. This is when most people go grocery shopping. Another top tip: if you see something you might want, we recommend buying it there and then. Products will often appear somewhat randomly – mincemeat in the height of summer, for example – and favourites may not show up again for months. Plan ahead, and get a good-sized larder.
