The Nevis Island Administration is considering extending the first-time homeowner’s program that allows owners to receive their building materials free of Customs Duty and Service Charge and those renovating existing homes able to enjoy the same benefits on materials over $30,000. The only qualifying rule? That 80% of workers employed must be citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
On St Kitts there are some increasingly high-end developments, primarily around areas such as Christophe Harbour and near the site of the new Park Hyatt hotel. Set above Turtle Beach on this exclusive south eastern peninsula is a 2.5 acre lot, available for US$4,300,000.
